Prodiaman is a joint venture partner with Aker Solutions, a global provider of products, systems and services to the oil and gas industry. Aker Solutions is the common brand name for the joint venture.
The aim of the joint venture is to be the main contracting party for the execution of major EPC contracts in Angola. In order to achieve this objective, the company endeavors to strengthen and develop its engineering, project management, product and services capabilities for Angolan deep water and ultra-deep water oil and gas fields. The Angolan joint venture company will focus on recruitment, training and development for the Angolan workforce.

About Aker Solutions in Angola
Aker Solutions was first established in Angola in 1998 and currently employs 140 people in its wholly owned subsidiary and 50 in the Joint Venture. More than 70 percent of the staff are Angolan nationals.
Aker Solutions and Prodiaman aim to provide technology transfer and development to the Angolan oil and gas industry through local resources to build on Aker Solutions’ 150 years of experience in the industry.
Aker Solutions has experience delivering large projects off the coast of West Africa. The company continues to deliver equipment to the Dalia deep-water project in Angola more than a decade after the original contract was awarded in 2003. Aker Solutions also delivered the Gimboa project, a subsea production system (SPS) based on the technology developed on the Dalia project.
